New IOP and Sober Living at Our Clovis Location!

We are Exited to Announce the Grand Opening!

We have some exciting things happening in the next week at First Steps! We are opening an IOP and Sober Living for our Clovis location!

Intensive Outpatient Programs provide a gradual stepping stone for the recovering addict to get back to their normal life after the rigors of drug treatment.  This type of program is designed to meet the needs of those individuals who are recovering from a substance use disorder and need more than weekly counseling, but don’t need residential care.

A Little Bit About Our New Program

Those who leave formal treatment need continued monitoring and stabilization.  Re-entering the real world can be overwhelming for those early in recovery and with the increased stress there can be temptations to use and subsequently backslide into addictive behaviors.

IOP includes group drug and alcohol counseling and case management. It will be located at 1300 E. Shaw Ave, Suite 152, Fresno CA. Hours of operation will be Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday from 8:00-11:30. We will provide transportation from our sober living to IOP.

Our sober living will be located in downtown Clovis at 21 N Woodworth Ave. Rent will be $500 per month and will include a fully furnished house, a furnished room to share, linens, and utilities. Rent will also include a house manager that makes sure all residents are complying with program rules. Residents will need to supply their own food.

 Why IOP in Clovis?

Relapse prevention is a major benefit of intensive outpatient programs. Clients gain various tools and knowledge for relapse prevention. These tools can mean life or death for an individual in recovery. Relapse is most dangerous in the early months of drug and alcohol addiction recovery, which is what makes relapse prevention and the additional treatment gained in an IOP program so important.

We are very excited to start this new adventure! If there are any questions or you would like to contact us call 1-844-489-0836 or visit our website.
