Based in scenic Sacramento, First Steps Recovery is proud to present a detox facility designed exclusively to serve the needs of men. Cypress is designed to speak to the needs of men as they enter recovery, as well as their medical needs at the early stages of medical detox. We recognize that each individual is unique, and we work to develop a customized treatment plan that addresses each person’s specific needs and goals.
Treatment at a First Steps Recovery facility is centered around holistic healing. Cypress is located in a secluded (yet still connected) section of Sacramento, CA that allows residents to spend time in nature while healing. Treatment at Cypress is designed to exclusively serve the needs of men seeking recovery. Men can find comfort and community in this trying time in a group of people going through similar challenges as them.
As a gender-specific facility, Cypress focuses on the specific psychological and social factors affecting men to better speak to their needs. This not only promotes personal comfort and bonding among peers, but also allows for targeted therapies that address the distinct paths of men’s recovery.
Medical staff will be present to provide support as the body breaks down the effects of alcohol addiction, opioid dependence, or whatever the resident is looking to detox from. Men will receive support for withdrawal symptoms at the beginning of their journey to sobriety, when the risk of relapse can be highest. We work to empower men with knowledge and resources to resist cravings during this crucial time.
The detox program at Cypress Men’s Detox is specifically tailored to meet the needs of men struggling with substance abuse and addiction. We welcome individuals from all backgrounds and walks of life, offering a judgment-free space where they can feel understood and supported in the initial stages of sobriety.
Our comprehensive and holistic approach to treatment ensures that every resident receives the personalized care and attention they need to set themselves up for successful recovery. Individuals dealing with a dual diagnosis of addiction and mental illness will receive specialized treatment with an emphasis on learning healthy coping mechanisms.
At Cypress Men’s Detox, we believe in taking a holistic approach to addiction treatment, and addressing the underlying issues that contributed to substance abuse. Our program offers a variety of evidence-based therapies and interventions, including:
Our team of therapists and addiction professionals work collaboratively with each individual to create a treatment plan that serves their individual needs. We believe in empowering our clients, and we work to provide them with tools, resources, and support that they need to build a new life of sobriety.
